Keith Kuhn practices in the area of professional malpractice, defending primarily accountants, real estate brokers and agents, and attorneys. He also actively pursues matters involving cross-border issues with British Columbia.
A dual citizen of the U.S. and Canada, Mr. Kuhn is currently admitted to practice as an attorney in Washington and as a barrister and solicitor in British Columbia. He is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, Faculty of Law (1993), where he was Editor-in Chief of the UBC Law Review. He also holds a Diploma in French Civil law, which he earned on scholarship from the Canadian Department of Justice (1991).
Prior to joining Lee Smart in 2004, Mr. Kuhn practiced in a mid-size insurance defense firm in New York (admitted 2001), where he handled a broad range of cases across the state and the border into Ontario (admitted 2002).
Prior to law school, Mr. Kuhn earned an M.B.A. in international finance from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and spent five years in the Province of Quebec working as an interpreter for the Canadian federal government and two years in Japan as an investor relations consultant.
