Keith Kuhn has eleven years combined experience as an attorney at law in the United States and as a barrister and solicitor in Canada. He is a 1993 law graduate of the University of British Columbia, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the UBC Law Review Journal. He also holds a Diploma in French civil law, which he earned on scholarship from the Canadian Department of Justice. Prior to entering law school, Mr. Kuhn took an M.BA. in international management from the American Graduate School of International Management, and spent five years in Quebec as an interpreter for the Canadian federal government and two years in Japan as an investor-relations consultant. He has since written teaching materials and taught courses related to the financial and legal aspects of international trade.
During the four years just prior to his arrival at Lee Smart, Mr. Kuhn practiced with a mid-size insurance defense firm in Western New York, where he handled cases across the state and across the border into Ontario. Now admitted to practice in both Washington and British Columbia, Mr. Kuhn is actively pursuing opportunities to expand the firm's cross-border insurance defense practice. |
