Mr. Ryan is an associate with Lee Smart. His practice includes all aspects of civil litigation, primarily representing defendants. He graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1999. He received his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law in 2002. Prior to joining Lee Smart, Mr. Ryan worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company as in-house counsel, where he conducted examinations under oath and represented policyholders in civil litigation. Prior to working at Liberty Mutual he was a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney representing the government in all aspects of criminal matters ranging in complexity from simple misdemeanors to violent felonies.

Mr. Ryan is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers.
