Tim Shea is an associate at Lee Smart. Mr. Shea graduated from the University of Washington in 2003, with a degree in political science, and then earned his J.D. degree from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2007. While at Gonzaga, Mr. Shea was a member of the Moot Court Honors Council and competed on two national appellate advocacy teams: the Conrad B. Duberstein National Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition team, and the National Appellate Advocacy Competition team. During law school, Mr. Shea also clerked for Winston & Cashatt P.S. in Spokane and clerked for Spokane County Superior Court Judge Jerome J. Leveque.

Mr. Shea's practice emphasizes civil defense litigation, including medical malpractice, professional negligence, and product liability claims. He has been selected as a “Rising Star” lawyer in Washington by Washington Law & Politics magazine. Mr. Shea is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court in the Western and Eastern Districts.
