Ms. Rogers is of counsel with Lee Smart. Her practice focuses on representation of health care providers and medical institutions in medical and dental malpractice matters. She also has experience in medical product liability cases.
Ms. Rogers also concentrates her practice in the area of medical staff relations representing hospitals, physicians, and nurses in medical disciplinary and credentialing matters. She has handled a variety of claims and risk management issues on behalf of hospitals, physician groups, clinics, and insurers including Providence Hospital Medical Center, University of Washington Medical Center, Multicare, Washington Casualty Company, Hudson, AIG and TIG.
Ms. Rogers received her B.A. from the University of Denver and her J.D. in 1986 from Rockford College in Rockford Ill. She graduated from the University of Puget Sound School of Law, Tacoma, Washington in 1986.
Ms. Rogers is a certified Emergency Nurse and Critical Care Practitioner, and has more than 11 years of nursing experience. Honors include Critical Care Nurse Practitioner, 1976-1977, Atlantic Union College, South Lancaster, MA, 1970 Bachelor of Nursing.
Ms. Rogers is a member of the American Bar Association, King County Bar Association, Washington Defense Trial Lawyers Association, Washington Health Care Risk Management Society, Defense Research Institute, Washington Women Lawyers, Emergency Nurses Association, Critical Care Nurses Association, and the American Nurses Association.
