Ketia Wick
is a shareholder with Lee Smart. Her practice emphasizes civil defense litigation, including medical malpractice, professional negligence, and long term care malpractice. She graduated from the University of Washington in 1993 with a B.A. in Accounting and Finance. She continued her education at Seattle University School of Law, from which she received her Juris Doctor (cum laude 1997). While in law school, Ms. Wick clerked in King County Superior Court for the Honorable Lawrence Jordan and after law school in Snohomish County Superior Court for the Honorable Ronald Castleberry. Prior to joining Lee Smart, she practiced medical malpractice defense with the firm Johnson, Graffe, Keay, Moniz & Wick. She was a member of the Board of Directors for the Washington Chapter of the American Corporate Council Association and is acting legal officer for Apex Wood Products Corporation. Ms. Wick is admitted to the Washington State Bar, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court, the United States Tax Court, the United States Supreme Court and she is "AV" rated by Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review.
