Mr. Grennan is a Lee Smart shareholder who joined the firm in 1982.  He concentrates his practice on complex, general civil litigation, including defense of head-injury claims, legal and real estate professional liability, medical malpractice, worker’s compensation, construction accidents, automobile tort and underinsured motorist claims, premises liability, environmental/toxic torts, and asbestos product liability.  Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory conferred an “AV” rating, its highest, on Mr. Grennan.  He is a cum laude graduate of the University of Washington with a B.A. in Economics and earned his J.D. degree from the University of Washington Law School in 1977.  Mr. Grennan has practiced in trial courts throughout the State of Washington, the Washington Court of Appeals, the Washington Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Western and Easter Districts of Washington, and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.  Mr. Grennan is a charter fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, as well as a member of the Retort Law Group.
