Andrew has experience in a broad range of legal matters, including intellectual property and trademark disputes, antitrust cases, and construction defect litigation. He has assisted with deposition preparation and has experience with innovative discovery solutions, such as technology assisted reviews and predictive coding.

Experience


Andrew’s experience includes these notable cases:

  • Mayes v. Law Firm - Obtained dismissal of plaintiff’s complaint for legal-malpractice with prejudice. Plaintiff sued his former lawyer and her firm, alleging his lawyer caused the dismissal of plaintiff’s employment discrimination claims against his former employer by misstating pivotal factual allegations in plaintiff’s complaint.. Plaintiff claimed the lawyer’s mishandling of his employment discrimination case caused plaintiff $6,000,000 in damages.
  • DOL v. Real Estate Broker - Obtained dismissal of Department of Licensing’s complaint against real estate broker client. Buyer of $1,500,000 property alleged her real estate broker failed to disclose material defects with the property’s title. The Department of Licensing found no formal administrative action was required and closed its file on the complaint.
  • Orrs v. Law Firm – Obtained summary judgment dismissal of plaintiffs’ complaint for legal-malpractice. Plaintiffs sued their former lawyer and his firm, alleging the lawyer negligently drafted, approved, and defended a settlement agreement. Plaintiffs claimed the lawyer’s mishandling of the settlement agreement caused plaintiffs $400,000 in damages.
