Jeff has experience in all phases of litigation. He has taken cases to trial in both state and federal court and appeared before the Washington State Court of Appeals. He has represented defendant drivers, large and small trucking companies, contractors, developers, building owners, large and small corporations HOA associations, and design professionals.
Jeff’s experience includes these notable cases:
Lapinski v. Westhill Restoration et al. – Defense of primer installer in a construction defect case. Directed verdict for client/defendant based on 4th party plaintiff’s failure to prove elements of contract for specific performance.
Callen v Gomez – Defense of vehicle owner in personal injury case. Arbitration defense award for vehicle owner found to have no vicarious liability for driver’s negligence.
Speser V. Mondau–Defense of driver in personal injury case. Summary judgment for defendant affirmed on appeal, holding defendant driver successfully yielded the right-of-way before becoming an immediate hazard. Unpublished opinion, 200 Wash.App. 1039, No. 75724–5–I.
