Kenneth Ford is an Associate with LeeSmart where he primarily focuses on insurance defense litigation. With a background in corporate litigation, emerging industry compliance, corporate transactions, tax planning, and tax controversy, he is thrilled to meld these passions to cultivate effective legal resolutions across all stages of litigation.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Ford spent several years at a cannabis law firm providing creative and strategic solutions to fit his clients' specific business and litigation needs. Prior to that, Mr. Ford worked for two state government taxing authorities as a Tax Policy Analyst.
He graduated cum laude from both from Bethune-Cookman University (BCU) and Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Mr. Ford also received his L.L.M. degree in Taxation from the University of Florida.
Mr. Ford is admitted to practice law in Florida, Texas, and Washington.
