Steven G. Wraith and Daniel C. Mooney won summary judgment in Valenzuela v. Meridian Builders, et al. in King County Superior Court. Plaintiff claimed substantial injuries after being struck by a concrete hose whip while pouring concrete on a multi-family construction project. Plaintiff alleged Steve and Dan’s client, the concrete supplier, violated OSHA, WISHA, the Products Liability Act, and the common law by providing defective concrete. Steve and Dan successfully argued plaintiff’s statutory claims failed as a matter of law, and there was insufficient evidence of any defect in the concrete provided.
