Marc Rosenberg also won summary judgment dismissal in Valle v. Law Firm in King County Superior Court. Plaintiff alleged claims under the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act and Consumer Protection Act. Plaintiff challenged personal jurisdiction, claiming that he lived in another county and did not to reside at the residence where service was made. The court held that, under the undisputed facts, plaintiff had more than one residence at which he regularly stayed and received mail. As a result, the court had jurisdiction and service was proper, so that the multiple claims brought by plaintiff were all subject to dismissal.
