Drew Gustafson and John C. Versnel, III obtained summary judgment dismissal of plaintiff’s claims in Dang v. Law Firm in King County Superior Court. Plaintiff sued his former attorney, John and Drew’s client, alleging the attorney negligently represented plaintiff in a licensing proceeding before the Medical Quality Assurance Commission. Plaintiff sought two million dollars in lost wages, contending the attorney’s alleged malpractice resulted in plaintiff’s termination from his job. The court dismissed plaintiff’s claims with prejudice, finding plaintiff failed to prove he would have fared better but for the attorney’s conduct.
