Marc Rosenberg won summary judgment, obtaining both a dismissal of plaintiff’s claims and a determination of plaintiff’s liability on his client’s counterclaims, in BBC Group NV LLC v. Island Life Restaurant Group, LLC in the Western District of Washington. In this trademark dispute, the district court determined that Marc’s client, a restaurant owner, had a valid protectable mark on its name and that plaintiff was infringing on it.
